// Tira Fira is a passion project I created for an eyewear brand. I was inspired by the exuberance of the 70s to which I added just a hint of modern minimalism.
About the brand:
– Tanya is the founder of TiraFira. She loves expressing herself through her clothing choices but couldn’t find the eyewear to match her personal style, so she created it.
– She wants to encourage people to give a chance to expressive eyewear. Consciously crafted out of carefully-chosen materials, her products fit all faces and styles. Through TiraFira, Tanya’s goal is to inspire everyone to live a more colourful life.
– I wanted to heavily references form the 70s without being too literal. To do this, I added in modern, minimalist fonts to balance out the logo suite and the typography choices. The color palette is minimal and muted, with a dash of a stunning orange color to ground the reference. Just like the color palette, the logo suite references the 70s without being too literal: punchy orange on a beige background for maximum effect. A playful pattern in the brand’s colours brings together the packaging and the brand imagery, ready to be shared far and wide.
